Over 29 years, AEON Group has established, operated subsidiaries in Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Philippines, Australia, India, Cambodia. Below is the number of stores and offices, including consolidated subsidiaries and equity-method affiliates which are operated and managed by AEON Group in other countries. In addition to the growth of its network as well as experience, during its operation, AEON Group has attained many prizes and awards for its excellent activities. The latest Award was granted by International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for AEON Lake Town which is an AEON shopping mall located in Koshigaya – Japan. AEON Lake Town won both the Sustainable Design Award and Gold Award in the category of Innovative Design and Development of A New Retail Center with more than 500,000 square feet of retail space.
Tagged as the “Mall of Japan”, AEON Lake Town is the largest shopping center in Japan. AEON Lake Town is also paving the way for more eco-friendly malls with many green technologies like photovoltaic solar panels, a hybrid gas-eco air conditioning system and a high-speed charging station for electric cars, making AEON Lake Town the only true eco-friendly shopping centre.
With its fundamental mission of retail business being the pursuit of affluence of customer’s life, AEON Group has contributed to the local community by the environmental and social activities to build a society in which people can live without anxiety.
Supermarket (SM)
AEON operates successfully GMS and SM in Japan, in other countries in Asia as the core stores of AEON Shopping Centers. AEON GMS and SM offer overall supports for people’s daily lives, providing customers with a wide lineup of clothing, food, household goods, selected with wide-ranging expertise and reflecting the local tastes, and also related services.
In Vietnam, with AEON GMS and SM, customers can find more varieties of commodities, safe and hygiene products by Japanese standards, the multi selections of foodstuffs reflecting local tastes and cuisine culture.
Shopping Center Development
AEON is developing Shopping Centers that harmonize with local communities in and outside Japan. We are making efforts to improve the service and facilities in respond to the changing of times and environment and diversification of customer needs.
In Vietnam, under most innovative format of Shopping Center, AEON offer customers “One Stop Shopping” destination, where customers can fully enjoy their shopping time, not only for themselves, but together with family members for the whole day with many relaxing dining activities.
